Give a knit

Do you? I do. Last Christmas almost all my gifts were hand knit. I didn’t have much cash to spend as I’m saving for that trip to Madagascar. Folk had to be happy with the time I’d given to make each of their gifts. The family got socks and seemed pretty pleased with them too, so much so that I’ve had requests for more! Good thing too as knitted/home made gifts is pretty much all they’ll be getting for the time being!

What kind of knitted gifts have you given? We’re they well received? Here (if I’ve correctly understood how to upload it on the iPod) is a poor picture of a knitted gift in progress.
