I’ve been busy, very busy. I have two pairs of Christmas socks to finish and several other gifts, I’ve also been frantically knitting a Squeggie (more about that next post). So of course, it was absolutely necessary for me to bimble about on Google looking at pictures of knitted Christmas stuff. It was vital to my Christmas joy and happiness to set aside all current unfinished projects and start a new one. You understand, don’t you? I loved the look of these yarn ball Christmas wreaths I’ve been seeing on the net. Most of them are made from styrofoam balls but I haven’t the time or the money to go and buy them. Instead I nicked a coat hanger, raided my stash and had a bash with genuine, reuseable, balled yarn. Here it is. (The picture doesn’t really do it justice but what do you expect when a cheap camera is photographing acrylic yarn in poor light!) I wouldn’t say it was the classiest Christmas decoration in the universe but it’s certainly fun! It’s also one more way of decorating the house without spending any money, I need every penny I can earn for Madagascar!
